Forvandling promo 2017

WELCOME AT FORVANDLING

A conference with God’s sovereign presence, with miracles and transformed lives, and with a growing community of women daring to stand together in their faith, their calling and their desire to be an instrument for God’s infinite love to the individual.

We seek a deeper understanding that it is not about us, but about Him who creates the transformation that lasts.

The vision is to see a transformation in women, spreading to transformation in families, in local churches and in society.

With deep gratitude to be part of the transformation that only God can create.

I am looking forward to seeing you.

Seminars

Teenage track (Arianna Walker, author and leader of Mercy UK)

pil

At Forvandling we have chosen to have a special focus on teenagers and young women, as they are the ones who shape the present and future of the church and society. We wish for the seminars to inspire the understanding of the individual's value, and how much God wants us to use the gifts He has given us.

Arianna, the conference’s main speaker, has a special heart for young girls, and her message of hope and transformation inspires many Christians to live freely and remain free, regardless of their current status in life or background.

Everyday miracles (Karin Kyhl, founder of Gadekirken in Aarhus)

pil

Does God heal today? We do not doubt this and that is why we have made room for this topic during the conference. The seminar will be found in the program both Friday and Saturday, starting with a short lesson, after which the main part will be used for practical prayer. Whether your need is internal or external healing, we believe that God will meet you.

Affected by divorce (Søren Marcussen, educator and senior consultant at Center for Familieudvikling)

pil

Divorce is a reality that affects many of us. We can be affected directly, as a parent, child or dear friend to a couple who has been divorced. How is a divorce best dealt with, how do you move on, and how do you support the ones affected? This is what Søren Marcussen tries to illuminate in this seminar, and the hope is to provide comfort, encouragement and perhaps new perspectives.

Growing your creativity (Mikkel Kaastrup-Mathew, actor and culture pastor in Kirken i Kulturcenteret)

pil

With this seminar, we want to set a focus on creativity, because you and the church needs your God-given creative abilities being lived out. We believe that God talks to people when we dare use these gifts. So come along and be inspired, or get the sparkle back, and find out what your next practical steps could be.

Developing as a leader in 2017 (Jennifer Reilly, Vice President, HR and Communication and leader of Radiometer’s talent development)

pil

Whether we talk about leadership in church or business life, there are currents and challenges, specific for our time. Jennifer possesses a demanding job, and through her everyday experiences she will inspire you to see what leadership in 2017 could look like in Denmark.

Career and church life (Jennifer Reilly, Vice President of HR and communication and leader of Radiometer’s talent development)

pil

Can you be a passionate career woman and still make a difference in your local church? Jennifer takes up this question with a starting-point in her own reality as a mother of three children, leader in an exciting and demanding job and with a big heart for the local church. Get challenged and motivated by how she prioritizes and finds the balance.

The story behind The Family Network (Dina Siegumfeldt and Tabita Jørgensen, social educator and deacon.)

pil

An inspiring and specific testimony of how God uses ordinary people to reach out to vulnerable people in our country. Through Familienetværket (The Family Network) in Kolding, Aarhus and Copenhagen there is given hope and love to families that live under chaotic circumstances, and have been abandoned by the system. Become motivated to reach out to the individual with God’s love from your church to your city.

Unaccompanied refugee children (Merete Tangstad, visionary leader of Forvandling and leader of Woman to Woman)

pil

In today's Denmark, there’s many unaccompanied refugee children who have lost their family members, country, culture and network because of war. At this seminar, you can meet young refugees who tell us the importance of having contact with a Danish family, and also Danish ‘bonus parents’ who come up with their suggestions to how we all can make a significant difference in the life of the children and young people, when we dare to open up our homes and hearts.

3 good reasons

1. You get the possibility to invest in your life, your calling and your faith

2. You will be spoiled in fellowship with women of all ages

3. You get the opportunity to make new friends or acquaintances across nationalities
